According to research, some parts of your car can be dirtier than a toilet bowl seat. Can you guess which part of your car is the dirtiest?
Your steering wheel carries the most germs in your car because of the germs in your hands brought from wherever your day may take you. And despite being diligent in taking your car for a cash wash or vacuuming the interior of the car, your steering wheel might not get properly sanitized.
Just like the steering wheel, dirty hands will come into contact with the car door handles all the time to open and close the door. Luckily these can be easily disinfected and cleaned with a disinfectant wipe.
Under the carpet
Most of us feel that it’s enough to just vacuum the surface of your car’s carpet. We are all wrong! Despite cleaning, most of the dirt finds its way under the surface of the carpets. Therefore, always remove the car mats before thoroughly vacuuming the carpets.
We’ve all tossed spare change in that compartment or spilled some espresso in there. Use disinfectant wipes to wipe out germs and any lingering mess and make sure that the surface is free of any grime or stains.
The seats are definitely one of the dirtiest places in our car! Sometimes you or your kids sit in these seats when you are sweaty, dirty, or sick. Spray the all-purpose cleaner over the seats and let it dry.
